This CD contains 8 kirtans ranging from the quiet and melodic to the upbeat and joyous... It was a collaborative effort involving the input of some wonderful and experienced ashram kirtanists and professional musicians. Each kirtan has its own unique mood created by a layering and harmonising of voices and instruments such as sitar, guitar, tabla, mridanga, keyboards, flute, didgeridoo and more! I am very pleased with the result and think you will be too, whether you are already a kirtan convert or are new to the practice. |
