Ayurveda Yoga Australia (AYA) would like to announce the 2nd International Ayurveda and Yoga Conference being held in Sydney, Australia*. The dates of the conference are Friday 3rd April 2009, ending Sunday 5th April 2009, with Pre and Post Conference events to be held in the weeks before and after.

In April 2006, AYA organised the very 1st International Ayurveda and Yoga Conference. This landmark event has been marked as a breakthrough in the history of Ayurveda and Yoga, the achievements of which have been recognised internationally.

The upcoming 2009 Conference is to take place at the stunning City Recital Hall at Angel Place, right in Sydney’s CBD and can seat up to 1200 delegates.

Our aims for this conference are to further the promotion of Ayurveda and Yoga in its true spirit, showcase its benefits to the community, strengthen the industry and to deliver a unique and inspiring experience to all those who attend.

We have gathered an extensive line of internationally acclaimed speakers, teachers, authors and researchers, who are renowned as authentic authorities in the fields of both Ayurveda and Yoga and their allied healing sciences. Some of the international speakers include: H.H. Paramahans Swami Maheshwarananda, Prof Dr. P.H.Kulkarni, H.H. Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, Brother Satyananda (SRF), Dr. Robert Svoboda, Dr. Smita Naram, Dr. Ram Kumar, Shakta Kaur, and many more. We also have a large line-up of well-known local speakers.
