| Duncan Wong |
 |
|
Duncan’s yogic path began in his teens; seeking solace from his combative youth. His yogic roots are founded in the Ashtanga
Vinyasa lineage, which he is authorized to teach by Master K. P. Jois, of Mysore. He is the only authorized resident Ashtanga
Vinyasa teacher in China. He is certified in the Jivamukti method, and attributes his asana-goddess connection to co-creators,
Sharon Gannon and David Life, of New York. He received his black belt teaching degrees, and main Buddhist influence from his
life-long Korean Kuk Sool sword mentor, Kwahn Jang Nym, S.J. Su, of San Francisco. Duncan’s dual edged path found common
ground through his exploration and research of the Thai and Shiatsu massage healing methods. Yogic Arts™ was born from the
synthesis of this trinity of disciplines, which share ancient roots that extend back to prehistory. Duncan draws his vital kundalinishakti-
pat, or awakened source energy from his living spiritual master, Gurumayi Chidvilasananda, of the Siddha Yoga lineage.
His extensive work with the most powerful performing celebrity-yogi’s in the world, reflect his sense of excellence and cool. |
