Come join us for an experiential exploration of meditation as it is understood in Yoga. This workshop will provide a thorough overview, both theoretical and practical, of Yoga's views regarding:
- what meditation is,

A unique opportunity to spend 2 weeks (or more) in Sri Lanka combining yoga practice and service--helping the local population to regain autonomy after the recent disaster. The daily program will consist of morning (Mysore style) asana practice, afternoons working with locals on chosen projects, and then pranayama, meditation and discussion in the evenings. Kim Roberts, M.A. Psychology, has taught Ashtanga yoga as well as meditation in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition since 1995. She has led retreat programs in the US, France, and Nepal. Having studied intensively with Pattabhi Jois, Sharath Rangaswamy, and Richard Freeman, she is an authorized teacher of the Ashtanga Vinyasa system.
