Yoga holiday at Bhutan - Land of the Thunder Dragon
8 Mar – 15 Mar 2008
Bhutan is a country known to be the last "shangri-la" in the world. For centuries, forbidden to foreigners, the environment remains untouched and inaccessible to people outside of Bhutan. Today, the people of Bhutan can still be seen living in the most ancestral way of life practicing its seasonal ritual and rites based on its Buddhist culture – Tibetan Buddhism.

YogaJaya 200hr Intensive Teacher Training. (Yoga Alliance 200hr)
February 9, 10, 11, 16, 17, 23, 24,
March 1, 2, 8, 9, 15, 16,
October 12, 13, 18, 19, 25, 26,
November 1, 2, 3, 8, 9, 15, 16.
All courses are conducted in English and Japanese with experienced interpreters for the duration of the course. Additionally the course manuals are translated into both languages. YogaJaya understands that work commitments prevent people from immersing themselves in a consecutive daily training course. So we have designed a course to both intensify the experience and economize the time that students are immersed in the curriculum agenda per week.
What makes the YogaJaya Teacher Training Curriculum different from other Yoga teacher training programs is the emphasis on the transformation in each and every one of us toward attaining our complete potential in our lives outside the mere physical yoga practice. The courses are designed to stimulate and revolutionalise an individual's perceptions of yoga practice and how it connects to every aspect of growth. The facilitators that have been chosen for these courses have decades of accumulated experience as yoga practitioners, teachers, therapists and artists.
The YogaJaya teacher training will take place from autumn through winter 2008. The teacher contact modules will be conducted on consecutive weekends and public holidays. Additional class attendance and assignments will be issued to comprise the additional credit hours.
YogaJaya and its vision have been recognized by some of the leading yoga organizations in the world, and continue to establish its open and diverse mission to clarify a profound but practical outlook on Yoga Lifestyle.

Singapore
COMO Shambhala Urban Escape Yoga Teacher Training Course January 2008
COMO Shambhala Urban Escape is offering a 500-hour teacher training course, beginning January 2008. The course is accredited with Yoga Alliance, the only organisation that registers teacher training programs internationally.
In line with COMO Shambhala’s commitment to enable each individual to achieve harmony and balance for the mind, body and spirit, this teacher training course is designed with both personal and professional development in mind. Although this course will earn you an internationally recognised qualification, it is, more importantly, a journey of personal growth that furthers your own practice on a physical, mental and spiritual level. After gaining a firm theoretical and practical foundation, you will then be able to integrate this understanding into the art of teaching yoga.
The course of study includes regular classes four times a week – two instructional sessions to cover the teacher training curriculum and two yoga practice sessions.
The course fees also include all expenses for two intensive retreats. This course is a demanding, highly rewarding programme for those called to develop themselves as practitioners and teachers of yoga. Not only does it build a solid foundation for teaching yoga, it also provides a systematic opportunity to gain a deeper awareness and understanding of your own practice.
Our dedicated and experienced teachers conduct classes in small groups for personalized attention. As a pioneer in yoga instruction in Singapore, we are exponents of the Hatha and Ashtanga styles. Upon request, we can arrange Pilates and private antenatal lessons. We also have special workshops and seminars helmed by visiting international experts, many of whom lead retreats at our COMO Hotels and Resorts wellness facilities.
