POST-NATAL YOGA TEACHER TRAINING
The post-natal period in a woman’s life is a time in which she needs to focus on her physical, spiritual and emotional wellbeing, as her well being is central to that of her new born baby’s wellbeing. Post-natal yoga classes honour the experiences of mothers in this time of transition and learning as well as empower women to connect with their own beliefs and values regarding mothering. Post-natal yoga also offers a holistic form of exercise for women specifically focused on the needs of the post-natal women, including pelvic and abdominal reconditioning and back and neck problems arising from pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Course Description
This Post-Natal Yoga Teacher Training Course forms the 2nd Module of Jean’s 100-hour Yoga for Pregnancy Birth and Beyond Teacher Training. It is registered with the Yoga Teachers Association of Australia as a speciality module and is suitable for yoga teachers, aspiring yoga teachers, midwives, doulas and anyone interested in yoga after pregnancy. This course will equip the attendees with the skills and knowledge to teach post-natal classes for women and their babies as well as nurture women who have become mothers.

You do not have to complete the 1st Module (Pre Natal Yoga Teacher Training) in order to take up this 2nd Module. For those who wish to complete Jean’s comprehensive 100-hour Yoga for Pregnancy Birth and Beyond Teacher Training, will be able to deduct credits earned in this module eventually.
